Nathan Coyle, airport manager for the Fernandina Municipal Airport, responded to our request for information after we learned an airplane was off the runway.  According to Coyle, “The aircraft is a Hawker 400 that left the paved surface of Runway 13/31 when landing to the South on Runway 13.  The aircraft had two pilots and four passengers onboard, and there were no injuries reported. Runway 13/31 will remain closed (in addition to Runway 4/22 which is closed for planned construction) at the airport until the aircraft can be safely removed from the site.

NTSB and FAA have been notified. The FAA will work with the flight crew to determine cause of the incident.”

Coyle sent the following photos.
