Final Farmers and Arts Market Place in 2021 to be held this Saturday

Fernandina Market Place
December 16, 2021

Enjoy the final Market Place farmers and arts markets of 2021! All three markets: Wildlight Market Place, Fernandina Beach Market Place, and the Fernandina Beach Arts Markets will be closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day. So, please join us on December 18th, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, for shopping, fellowship, and plain old fun!

Wildlight Market Place offers a variety of vendors with microgreens, seasonal produce, baked goods, arts, crafts, jewelry, woodworking and more, located just east of I-95 in the new Wildlight Community.

The Fernandina Beach Market Place is on North Seventh Street, between Centre and Alachua Streets, and will have seasonal produce, fresh baked breads, gluten-free and vegan baked goods, mini cupcakes, microgreens, elderberry syrup, fresh syrup from Vermont, Alaskan salmon, wild-caught shrimp, An Unbelievable Egg Rolls, chopped olive salad, and many more booths. Look for soy candles, and bath and beauty products. There will be patio plants, colorful baskets, poinsettias, Christmas cactus, and orchids, too. Need last minute stocking stuffers? We’ll have hot sauces, rubs, cheese straws, dehydrated fruit, beef jerky and plenty of other great gift giving ideas, including gifts for man’s best friend.. This is also the time to pick up the locally grown items you need for your Christmas dinner such as rolls, greens, beans, pecan pies, mushrooms, flavored salts, chicken, beef, or pork, and goat yogurt, milk and cheeses. Our Brick-and-Mortar guest will be downtown merchant, Cotton Ways, who is bringing racks of Florida lifestyle clothing that is comfortable, casual, and cool. Live music will be provided by Dylan Bailey.

The Fernandina Beach Arts Market, located adjacent to the farmers market, is home to 30 booths of unique art and craft booths such as women’s apparel, fine and whimsical jewelry, stained-glass, custom-made knives, walking sticks, cigar boxes, authors and their books, wood working, glassware, pottery, and other fascinating creations. Truly a market with something for everyone!

From our family of vendors to yours, “We wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!” The Fernandina Beach Markets will reopen on January 8, 2022, with the farmers market open weekly and the Arts Market open on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month; Wildlight will reopen on January 15, 2022, and will be open on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month.
