Fernandina Beach City Attorney Tammi Bach was recently recognized by the Florida Bar Association for outstanding service to the City, County and Local Government Section of the Florida Bar Association. The City, County and Local Government Law Section serves as an organization within The Florida Bar for lawyers representing local government interests and representing private interests in the area of local government. Bach has served on the Executive Council of this Law Section of the Florida Bar since 2016 and currently holds the office of Secretary.
Bach received the Section’s 2020 Chair Service Award for her service in taking over and moderating the bi-annual Land Use Law Seminar and for reorganizing the social media committee in 2019-2020.
Bach also serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Municipal Attorneys’ Association (a Division of the Florida League of Cities) holding the office of Treasurer this year.
Bach was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1999 after receiving her Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University. She has served as City Attorney for Fernandina Beach for the past 13.5 years.

Congratulations Tammi, you’ve worked very hard for this. I am Godfather to her oldest Twin Roman and my family was great friends with her family in South Florida in the 70’s & 80’s. It’s a small world.
