Pete – Welcome to the community and welcome to the FBPD!

The FBPD would like to welcome our newest police officer, Pete Flores. After retiring from the US Army as a Chief Warrant Officer with 24 years of service, Pete became a deputy sheriff in Okaloosa County Florida. He then ended up in Arizona for a year while his wife, an Air Force E-7 Master Sergeant, was stationed there. Pete’s wife is now retiring from the Air Force and they have decided to make Fernandina Beach their home.

Pete’s family has a history of law enforcement service, his brother Marco is a deputy sheriff in Palm Beach County and his brother Hector made the ultimate sacrifice for his community in 2002 while serving with the Marion Louisiana Police Department.
