The City of Fernandina Beach welcomes Ms. Pauline Testagrose as the new City Comptroller. Ms. Testagrose began her duties with the City on Monday, July 30, 2018, following leave with Broward County where she served in the finance department for five years.

The current City Comptroller, Ms. Patti Clifford, will retire in December 2018, and work alongside Ms. Testagrose for the next several months to ensure a smooth transition.

A nationwide search was conducted for the City Comptroller replacement. City Manager Dale Martin says Ms. Testagrose stood out among the applicants for her exceptional qualifications as well as her financial experience within the state of Florida.

Originally from Long Island, Ms. Testagrose is a Certified Public Accountant with a BBA in Accounting from Hofstra University. She and her husband, Conrad, have one son and one daughter who both attend college in New York.

City staff and officials welcome Ms. Testagrose as the newest member of the City’s senior management team.
