Fernandina Beach Police reports homicide – Update : Portion of S 13th no longer closed to traffic

Updates:  Deputy Chief Tambasco said, “the incident occurred yesterday evening and one person is deceased.”

South 13^th Street between Elm Street and Date Street has been opened to through traffic.

The Fernandina Beach Police Department along with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement are working on a Homicide investigation in the 400 block of South 13^th Street.

South 13^th Street between Elm Street and Date Street is closed to through traffic. There is no further information available currently.
