Vice Mayor Len Kreger presided over the January 4, 2022 Fernandina Beach City Commission (FBCC) meeting, while Mayor Mike Lednovich stepped back from the chair and participated as Commissioner from home.
At the end of the meeting Lednovich explained his absence.
“The cautionary tale from my home is that I am in my 9th day of Covid, and let me tell you, you don’t want this. It’s like a very bad, severe cold, and it’s not fun. So my caution to everyone is stay healthy, avoid crowds, wear your mask. Take care of your health, because I don’t wish this on anyone. Stay healthy and good night.”
Mayor/Commissioner Lednovich is fully vaccinated.
