Despite relentless sun and temperatures hovering around 100 degrees, workers today continued installing the new attenuator in the south basin of the Fernandina Harbor Marina.  Several sections have been installed, with additional sections sitting in Parking Lots C and D awaiting installation.

Installation of Docks 4 and 5 have also been completed, with the exception of some utility work.  Dock 6 installation began August 9.  The trench through Parking Lot B, needed to install dock utlities, has now been filled in.

Fernandina Beach City Manager Dale Martin reports that coordination with FEMA continues on repairs/reinstallation of the north attenuator.

Is there any follow up to the story of why there are 150 feet less dock due to cost over runs and how the city will compensate for loss of that income?
There are rumors of charging $20 per ft.
Thanks
