Fernandina Beach Police Deparment
July 22, 2021

Officers Zachary Sieh and Mitchell Alvin.

Today we recognize Officers Mitchell Alvin and Zachary Sieh as they celebrate their second anniversary with the Fernandina Beach Police Department.

Both officers graduated from the Northeast Florida Criminal Justice Training and Education Center in Jacksonville and came to Fernandina Beach to start their law enforcement careers.

Officer Alvin was born and raised in Jacksonville and earned two bachelor’s degrees (Criminal Justice and Psychology) at the University of North Florida before becoming a police officer.

Officer Sieh graduated from Yulee High School and then went on to serve four years in the United States Marine Corps before becoming a police officer.

Both officers are assigned to the Patrol Bureau on the night shift.

You will never meet two finer, more respectful young men, we are lucky to have them in our ranks!

Congratulations to both of you for celebrating two years with the FBPD and we hope you both will be here for many years to come.
