Getting greener every day. Thursday, the City planted six maples and four cedars along the edge of the ball field at the Peck Center.

How is it that the City plants maple trees, bu when a developer submits landscaping plans, maple trees have no credits? Thus maples are not planted.

Was this submitted to the city arborist for a reply? I’d like to know. I thought the ocean oaks were the most hardy local trees with great canopy year-round.

from Dave Holley, the city Arborist…

I give credit for maple trees. I don’t know what they’re talking about.
