For those in our golf family, we need to share some sad news. Fernandina Beach Golf Club lost a member of our maintenance family on Monday. Clay Daniel passed away on Monday morning while performing his duties at the course. Clay was a 58-year-old athlete. He will be missed and thought of often.
In Clay’s memory, the Fernandina Beach Golf Club will be closed on Monday, May 10 in his honor. The course staff will gather to remember him at the course. Thank you for your understanding.
