Please be advised that on the north end of island, garbage and recycle was not picked up on 3/23 but the 24th. As well the 30th pick up was delayed a day. A public service would be great if the Observer could post a number to call and actually talk to a person. Possibly a contract monitor from the city.

Or go to the City website yourself and get the number for Advanced Disposal (Waste Management) as I did:

Advanced Disposal

(904) 879-2301 OR

(904) 261- 7186

or you can always call the City Manager’s office and relay your issue (904-310-3100).

Article above from April addressing same problem continuing today. Missed garbage and recycling pick-ups. Poor service is now the norm in mid June 2021.
