February 24, 2021Shout out to the City Building Department- both in the office and on the field. Their combined efforts allowed them to complete nearly 180 inspections yesterday!

Sounds impressive, but the press release lacks important details.
22.5 inspections per hour, assuming an 8-hour day.
And way too long a wait time for a ($23O permit fee!) a Carport. Growth is not always a good thing. We long term locals pay in several ways for the unplanned growth and overdevelopment we never wanted.
Nancy, specifics please. How much time in business days elapsed between your (or your contractor’s) request for an inspector and the inspector showing up?

How many “drive by” inspections?
