Fernandina Beach, FL –  Bent Wing Flight Services, the Fixed Base Operator at Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport on Amelia Island, Florida, is pleased to be the host FBO for 29th annual Fly-In Convention of the Malibu/M-Class Owners and Pilots Association. The Fly-In Convention will take place at the Ritz Carlton from May 29 through June 2, 2019.

MMOPA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the interests and safety of owners and pilots who fly PA-46 derivative aircraft, including the Malibu, Mirage, Meridian, JetPROP, Matrix M350, M500 and M600. The organization was founded in 1988 and serves over 900 members.

“We are especially pleased to be the FBO host for the MMOPA Annual Fly-In, and support MMOPA’s goal of promoting education and safety through their informative sessions featuring expert speakers and educational seminars,” says Bent Wing Flight Services owner Brian Echard.

“Approximately 120 aircraft will fly in to Amelia Island for this event, which will have a significant positive economic impact for both the city of Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island,” adds Echard. “We are looking forward to hosting several of these events each year and are pleased to announce that we will be hosting the Grumman American Yankee Association 2019 Convention here at the airport in September.”
