Beach renourishment update

Below is the updated information for the Renouishment Project demobilization.

1.  The completion of the demobiliztion has been extended to a maximum goal 1 May 2018 with all efforts being made to complete earlier.  The work area today, which includes any equipment/pipe on the beach is from 16 North to 5 South.  This area will be reduced as the work continues.  The Dolpin Avenue north for approximately 500 feet will be the prime area for staging.  This will require the coninuted closure of 4 North Access.    Public access to traverse the beach will continue with,  safety monitoring as required.  (Day operations)

Note that the previous plan to float pipe off the beach has be changed to trucking.

2.  Sea Turtle monitoring will be initiated 15 April 2018.
