The Beach Fill operation will begin Saturday 10 March 2019 and continue until 31 March 2018. Below is the tentative Schedule. This schedule will updated as required weekly. Demobilization will continue into early April 2018.
Work will start at New York Avenue and move south just south of Sadler Avenue.
During the operation beach access will be totally blocked for 1000 foot work areas. (From the Dunes to the water).
This will be a 24 hour a day operation.
This morning a pre fill safety meeting was conducted with Ocean Rescue, Fire, Police, Parks and Recreation, Streets, US Army Corps of Engineers and Dutra (Contractor) in attendance.
