Does your child love to paint, sculpt, draw, print, and more? Cultivate their creative abilities in Summer Camp at the Cummer Museum, starting Monday, June 10 and running through July 26. Young artists entering grades 1 through 6 will observe and explore artwork in the Museum’s galleries and gardens, experiment with different art media in the studio, and create and showcase their artwork in a special exhibition each week. Each camp is taught by professional Museum Educators trained in the fields of art history, fine arts, education, and science who will build the skills for students to look at, connect with, and create art in more personal ways. The Education team creates fun and engaging art projects and experiences inspired by the Museum’s permanent collection, gardens, and special exhibitions that will spark your child’s creativity and imagination.
