Plantation Artists’ Guild & Gallery
December 30, 2020
Plantation Artists’ Guild & Gallery (PAGG) will feature the acrylics of exhibiting member Ed Mosher as the “Corner” show artist for the month of January.
In 1955 Ed joined the Navy and working as a photographer. After his service he moved on to careers in the photography manufacture sector then went onto owning his own art supply/framing business. As a child Ed loved art, so it was convenient to have all the materials in hand to start painting. After locating to Amelia Island, Ed and his wife owned “The Sign Shoppe,” which he later sold and became “Fastsigns.” Now Ed paints full time.
Ed has been a very active member of PAGG for 10 years. His acrylics of Seascapes are a favorite here on the Island. He is also a popular painting instructor to groups and individuals and teaches after school drawing in three county schools.
Located at 94 Amelia Village Circle in the Omni Amelia Island Plantation shops, PAGG is a not-for-profit artist cooperative. Hours are Mondays 11-5, Tuesday 9-1, Wednesday through Saturday 11- 5, and Sunday 1-5.
