Amelia Island Jazz Festival to celebrate 18th year this October

Guitarist John Pizzarelli and Saxophonist/Clarinetist Ken Peplowski, two legendary and critically acclaimed jazz musicians, will headline the 2021 Amelia Island Jazz Festival, October 3-10, 2021 in Fernandina Beach, FL.
Peplowski and Pizzarelli’s Trio will appear October 8 and 9 respectively in the Grand Ballroom at the new Courtyard / Springhill Suites by Marriott at 2700 Atlantic Avenue near Main Beach (MAP).
The festival will kick off a full week of shows Sunday, October 3 with its traditional free concert in Amelia Park (MAP) with the University of North Florida Jazz Ensemble 2 directed by Dennis Marks.  Other events will include a Sponsors Party, a Jazz and Wine Tasting event, the Jump Jive & Wail Swing Concert/Dance with the Les DeMerle Little Big Band featuring vocalist Bonnie Eisele, a Hot Latin Concert/Dance with Trio Caliente and percussionist Doc Handy, (both at Sadler Ranch, 869 Sadler Road), late night jam sessions at Mocama Beer Company, and it will conclude with the Dixieland Jazz Brunch featuring the Spare Rib Six plus Eisele in the Courtyard / Springhill Suites Ballroom on Sunday, October 10.
