365 Days in a year , 151 calls , This sounds like a good job to have .You got a couple hundred days a year you get payed to show up and do nothing .
To The George:
Before you get so sarcastic, check your facts. The 151 calls was during the month of November or an average of 5 calls/day. With an average response time of about 3 minutes, any community would be ecstatic to have that response rate. Call Nassau County and ask them what their response time is. Kudos to the FB Fire Rescue personnel for a job well done. In 11 years I have had to call them twice for possible fires and their response and professionalism was top notch. You owe them an apology.
Well said, Dave Lott!!
