County NewsRescue at Lofton Creek Posted on February 4, 2022February 4, 2022 by Press Release Nassau County Insider February 4, 2022 Yesterday at approximately 4:00 p.m., Nassau County Fire Rescue Station 71 and Marine 20 responded to a call for a civilian needing assistance on the water at Lofton Creek after losing control and wrecking his watercraft. The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office also arrived on the scene and the two groups worked together to rescue the victim. NCFR treated him for minor injuries and took him to a local hospital for further care. Great job to everyone involved in this effort.
