The Conservation Land Acquisition and Management (CLAM) Program
Amelia Tree Conservancy, the Comp Plan/LDC Working Group and Amelia Forever are hosting an information session on the CLAM Program on Oct. 8, 3:00-4:00 at Story & Song.
The Conservation Land Acquisition and Management (CLAM) Program is a County effort to protect Nassau County waters and water quality, reduce flooding, conserve wildlife habitat and retain outdoor recreation resources in partnership with North Florida Land Trust.
Our featured speaker on the program will be Holly Coyle, Economic Resources Coordinator, Office of Strategic Advancement and Economic Resources, and staff liaison to the CLAM Committee.
The CLAM Program is focusing on land conservation throughout the County (including Fernandina Beach). Margaret Kirkland will also address questions related to the November referendum.
The referendum in November is an opportunity for residents to invest in Land Conservation at very little cost per household. Please vote YES for the bond.
