Dr. Taylor Clem to Speak at The Bartram Garden Club Open House

The Bartram Garden Club will kick off its sixth year as a federated garden club in Florida with a Welcome Back Coffee/Tea and Orientation meeting on Sept. 8. Those interested in learning more about the club are invited to attend. The club meets at the GFWC Woman’s Club of Fernandina Beach, 201 Jean LaFitte Blvd.

The guest speaker will be Nassau County Extension Director, Dr. Taylor Clem, who will present a program on growing “Citrus at Home.” The program will follow a welcome reception at 10:00 a.m. and the business meeting at 10:30 a.m.

The Bartram Garden Club is affiliated with the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. and the National Garden Clubs, Inc. As part of a regional, state, and national network of federated garden clubs, The Bartram Garden Club offers many avenues for community service and education.
