We began the 21-22 school year facing the continued challenges of COVID, along with the national teacher shortage. The commitment, dedication, and perseverance of the Nassau County School District prevailed. Please join me in celebrating and congratulating “the Team” that makes a difference every day! Take the time to email, call, visit, or write a note to the teachers and leaders in your child’s school, your community, and throughout Nassau County. Let them know how much you appreciate their dedication to the success of students and the improvement of our schools!
Moving forward, it’s important that we take the steps necessary to continue our academic focus, improve safety, enhance Career and Technical training opportunities, as well as recruit and retain the best teachers! We are fortunate to live and work in a community of leaders, supporters, and friends of education. We Are Nassau!
Congratulations to our students, parents and teachers for a job well done! While there is room for improvement this is great news. Keep up the good work.
Where can I see the scores for Southside Elementary?
