The Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market will be open in historic downtown, and our sister market, the Wildlight Market Place will be open near I-95 in Yulee, on Saturday, June 4th. Both markets are open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., rain or shine.

In Fernandina, you will find nearly 40 booths of true farmers market products like seasonal produce, pickles, jellies, jams, and chow chow, fresh baked breads, coffee, prepared foods, dog treats, flavored salts, rubs, succulents, house, patio and foundation plants, terrariums, natural olive oil and goat milk body products, soy candles, cake pops, macarons and more. There will be beef, wild-caught shrimp, pork, duck, chicken, and salmon, too.

This week Lizzie’s Cheese Straws will be offering samples of their traditional Southern cracker in classic cheddar, cheddar parmesan, pimento, cheddar habanero, and white cheddar Rosemary. Sweet straws include red velvet and key lime. Simply Savory offers sweet, savory and spice dip kits in flavors like mudslide, sun dried tomato, and three amigos. They, too, offer samples. All-Natural Insect Repellent is also available at the farmers market and it is guaranteed to work!

Wildlight Market Place will offer nearly 30 vendors of foods, arts, and crafts. Bougie B’s Designs has luxury foiled greeting cards, foiled art, and sun catchers. Hand Crafted by Alice specializes in hand-threaded jewelry using glass beads and gems. Out of the Woodworks will be set up with handmade furniture, plants and more.

Wildlight’s food trucks this Saturday are Sal’s Cucina, fresh Italian food made daily, and I Love Pierogi, serving up authentic Polish pierogies. This is an Eastern European dumpling stuffed with potatoes and cheese, spinach and cheese, meat filled, sauerkraut and mushroom, blueberry, and more. They also have homemade kielbasa.

Both markets offer local live music and well-behaved leashed pets are welcome. Learn more about either market on Facebook or online.
