City road improvements will begin Monday, May 16. Depending on weather conditions, work should be complete by Friday, May 27. Expect intermittent street closures, never more than one or two days at a time. Informational Video
All yard debris, garbage carts, and vehicles on these specific roads must be removed. Affected residents may need to make other parking arrangements during this timeframe.
Tentative schedule:
May 16: Central Park Lot
May 16 – 17 : S.4th St. (Ash – Alachua)
May 17 – 18 : S.5th St. (Ash – Alachua)
May 19 – 20 : 9th St. (Hickory – Beech)
May 20 – 23 : Cedar St. (8th – S. 13th)
May 23 – 24: S. 11th St. (Beech – Elm)
May 24 – 25 : Fir St. (11th – 17th)
May 25 – 26 – Date St. (14th – 16th)
May 27 – White St. (Commandant – New)
