First Coast McArthur Family YMCA receives Judges Choice Award during Shrimp Festival Parade

Last Friday, the First Coast YMCA was awarded with the “Best in Show” float during the first Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival in three years. Held in the historic downtown of Fernandina Beach, the Shrimp Festival invited local residents and organizations to create floats for its legendary Pirate Parade. The Y’s float was built by members, staff and volunteers from the McArthur Family YMCA.
