NAMI Nassau County FL holds free support groups for peers and for friends and family of people with mental health challenges. Meetings are structured, confidential and inclusive. Anyone 18 years or older is welcome. For more information, check our website at www.naminassauflorida.org.
Fernandina Family Support Group meets May 3 and will continue to meet the first Tuesday from 6:30 – 8 PM at the Alachua Club, 32 N 3rd Street, downtown Fernandina Beach.
Hilliard Family Support Group meets Wednesday, May 4 and will continue to meet the first Wednesday from 12 noon to 1:30 PM at the Hilliard Journey Church, 550974 US-1, Hilliard, FL opposite the Winn Dixie shopping plaza.
Yulee Family Support Group meets Tuesday, May 17 and will continue to meet the third Tuesday from 6:30 – 8 PM at Journey Church, 95707 Amelia Concourse, Yulee, FL.
Connections Group (for those directly affected by a mental health challenge) meets every Friday from 11-12:30 at Council on Aging, 1901 Island Walkway, Fernandina Beach, FL.
