This week is designated to recognize the outstanding services provided by Nassau County Animal Services including enforcement of animal control laws, promoting animal related public safety and providing education on responsible pet ownership.

Nassau County Animal Services continues to qualify as a “no-kill” shelter due to their efforts in ensuring that animals entering the facility leave the facility through various avenues, including but not limited to, adoptions, fostering, return to owners, and transfer to animal rescue groups.
