Through April 16 LifeSouth will donate $10 for every blood donation in support of Ukraine
LifeSouth blood donors can help save lives locally by donating blood, and help the brave people of Ukraine. In support of Ukraine, for every blood donation collected in a LifeSouth donor center, April 10-16, LifeSouth will donate $10 per donation to the Blood Centers of America Foundation for the purchase of medical and blood collection equipment to directly help patient care in Ukraine.
LifeSouth is the primary provider of blood Baptist Medical Center Beaches, Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, Baptist Medical Center Nassau, Baptist Medical Center South, UF Health Jacksonville, UF Health North, HCA Florida Memorial Hospital, HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital and Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Please help patients at local hospitals by donating blood. It serves 70% of the hospital beds in Northeast Florida with lifesaving blood products.
All blood donors receive a thank you gift, refreshments and a mini-physical including cholesterol, iron level, temperature and blood pressure. To make an appointment in a LifeSouth donor center visit: https://donors.lifesouth.org/donor/schedules/centers. Walk-ins are also welcome.
How to Donate:
Visit a LifeSouth donor center. To find a location near you visit lifesouth.org or call 888-795-2707. Donors must be at least 17 years old, or 16 with parental permission, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be in good health. A photo I.D. is required.

Northeast Florida Donor Center (7840 Baymeadows Way):
· Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
· Wednesday hours: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
· Saturday hours: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
· $10 e-gift card for all donors
Fleming Island Donor Center (1605 County Rd. 220, Unit 160)
· Wednesday/Thursday/Friday hours: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
· Saturday/Sunday hours: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
· $20 e-gift card for all donors
Julington Creek Donor Center (445 SR 13, Suite 25)
· Tuesday – Friday hours: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
· Saturday hours: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
· $20 e-gift card for all donors
