According to Susan, the “Red-shouldered Hawk is fairly common on Amelia Island. They normally hunt reptiles, small mammals, and amphibians. Nice portrait of a beautifu bird! Nice that he cooperated and look directly at you and the camera. There are several on the greenway these days. We are blessed to live in such a place!
