Legendary Fernandina Actors and Storytellers Take the Stage

Vote for Your Favorite Performance!

Join the Fernandina Beach Friends of the Library (FOL) for their spring fundraiser, Stories on Stage, on Sunday, April 3, 2022, from noon to 2:30 pm at Story & Song Center for Arts & Culture, located at 1430 Park Avenue in Fernandina Beach.

Legendary Fernandina Beach actors and storytellers Mark Charles, Arlene Filkoff, Marsha Dean Phelts, Rachel Tyler, and Buffy Wells will join guests for an afternoon of creative storytelling. Well-known director and actor Carey Dresser will act as Master of Ceremonies. Be thoroughly entertained as these local legends bring laughter, surprise, memories, and emotion to the stage. Audience members are encouraged to purchase tokens to vote for their favorite story.

This celebration of stories and tales will begin with a courtyard brunch reception at noon. Enjoy delicious brunch bites and mimosas with Richard Restiano on the piano. Dessert and coffee will be served at intermission, and wine will be available for purchase.

Guests are encouraged to show their enthusiasm for the storytellers by having cash on hand to purchase tokens and vote for their favorite performance.

The public is invited to Stories on Stage.

Proceeds from this event will support the Fernandina Beach Library for the purchase of new books, eBooks, technology, and community programming.
