The first-ever Jail Break 5K race was held in and around the grounds of the Robert M. Foster Justice Center, located at 76212 Nicholas Cutinha Drive in Yulee. Official race registrants numbered well over 200 but the total crowd was said to have been twice that. The course also contained eight obstacles.
Funds raised will go to the annual Shop with a Cop program, focusing on the economically distressed families in our community. Each year, on average 300 children benefit from the program.
