The parks in the City of Fernandina Beach are unique, each serving a different purpose in our community with a shared goal for ALL to have a place to enjoy.
The Central Park play structure was removed, as it had reached the end of its life. Three of the slides have been saved from the original structure and will be incorporated into the play area. Our new play structures were chosen to fit all abilities and include a climb and discover cave, ‘roxs all’ seesaw, two kidnetix twirl structures, a rope climbing tower, and a log balance beam – along with the current parent/child swings and regular swings.
Central Park is one of the many parks offered in Fernandina Beach. If you are looking for a park that includes a large climbing structure there are multiple in the nearby area which include Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Playground, Main Beach Playground, Egans Creek Park, and Atlantic Park at the Atlantic Recreation Center.
