How about some new updates on masks and vaccine efficacy.

Please remember that the great majority of people who are getting severe cases, hospitalizations, and death are not vaccinated for Covid. These are the people who are filling up our hospitals, making it difficult for people who need hospitalizations to get in (whether they have Covid or not), and contributing to severe burnout of all our healthcare workers. Likewise, even though vaccinated people are still at risk of getting the virus, it is the unvaccinated people there most likely spreading it to those who are high risk of getting very sick. There’s nothing wrong with getting vaccinated, and it helps your family, friends, and neighbors.

For the first time in History a medicine’s lack of effectiveness is being blamed on those who are not taking it.

In the weekly FL DOH report the positivity rate for the State declined for the second week in a row and the number of new cases, after showing a marked slowing the previous week, has now declined for the first time with this wave. We are on the backside and, like you see in the UK, it should accelerate its decline over the next few weeks.
