What to do if you have been exposed to COVID-19 . . .

If you’ve been exposed to a person with CoViD-19, your first thought shouldn’t be, “I need to get tested!”

It SHOULD be, “I need to quarantine so I don’t accidentally spread it to anyone else.”

It can take up to two weeks for enough virus to multiply in your cells to get a positive test result.

A “not detected” result a few days after exposure does NOT mean you aren’t infected with the virus – and you can spread the virus to others a full two days BEFORE you get a positive result or begin to feel sick.

Be responsible. Be considerate of others. Act like you’ve got it and don’t spread it around.

We can stop the pandemic with simple infection control measures.
