Bob Keller

This is Police Service Aide Bob Keller; he is this week’s Employee Spotlight.

Getting to know Bob:

How long with FBPD?
– I was a PAC volunteer for 5 plus years and presently as a PSA (Police Service Aide) for almost 6 years.
Current assignment? Almost anything that does not require the services of a sworn police officer. Parking enforcement, traffic radar sign placement, and repair, delivering items to the Courthouse, working the front counter and 100 other miscellaneous things.

Best part of your job? I like being around people, talking with them helping them if I can, learning from their experiences and staying as active as my mind and body will allow.

Dream vacation? It was always our desire to live near the ocean so vacations to the West Coast of Florida were a real joy. Almost 19 years ago my wife and some of her friends went to a place called Amelia Island for a birthday and to ride horses on the beach. She came home and ordered me to sell the house because we were moving. So, the answer this question is easy, we found our dream vacation place and I enjoy every day being here.

Favorite Music? Johnny Guitar Watson and most of early Motown.
