Sad that there is no measure reported of actual disease symptoms.

I look forward to this report every week. I think it tells a true story.

This surge is exactly what was predicted. We are fortunate that children and most younger adults do not contract Covid to the point of needing hospitalization. The tricky part, however, is that these positive cases also represent increased transmission to older people and those with health risks that do end up needing hospitalization and even dying. Vaccinations, mask wearing, and social distancing all help to reduce the spread of Covid. Having Covid previously without getting vaccinated is proving to not instill natural immunity very well with the Omicron variant.

Having Covid previously and being vaccinated also is not proving to have much of an effect on preventing infection from Omicron. Just trying to balance it out for you Mr. Tomes.
