Aidan Quinn and Christine Stay, combine storytelling, social commentary and humor to create songs of everyday life, local heroes, and quirky observations. Their lyrically rich, harmony-driven songs earned them spots as Kerrville New Folk Finalists, Falcon Ridge Emerging Artists, and South Florida Folk Festival Songwriter winners. Friction Farm’s latest CD, “Evidence of Hope” , which reached #10 on the Folk Radio Chart, found hope in the strangest places during the first year of the pandemic, witnessing the collision of strong political polarity with personal kindness, the intersection of fragility and breathtaking beauty.

“They were utterly charming. Their well-written songs cover a wide gamut and their delivery is spot on. They should be much better known”. Rich Warren, Host WFMT’s Folk Stage and Midnight Special

In addition to selling books, Story and Song hosts touring songwriters in concert. Including many Nashville writers of hit songs. Since Friction Farm pens many songs inspired by books, it’s a perfect fit. Tickets are $25 and are available at the store,  by calling us 904.601.2118, or at stroyandsongbookstore.com
