The Jacksonville Symphony presents a jam-packed holiday season. From piano concertos to Holiday Pops, there is something for everyone’s holiday traditions.

The Symphony will start the holiday season with a program that will stir your soul and lift your spirits. In addition to Mozart’s vibrant and comedic Piano Concerto No. 21, the Symphony will perform Bedřich Smetana’s zesty Overture from The Bartered Bride, a “vigorous and energetic work that celebrates the sheer joy of being alive” (Laurie Shulman, program annotator). Closing out the program is Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 7: a symphony whose inner movements are both expressive and glorious.
This concert is a part of the David M. Hicks Mozart Piano Series.
