Boys and Girls Clubs of Nassau County congratulates our October 2021 Youths of the Month. Roberts Learning & Achievement Center member Cason Melhorn and Miller Freedom Center member Jaxson Ferch are our latest members to receive this recognition.
Cason Melhorn is a six-year-old in the 1st grade at Southside Elementary. Cason became a member at Roberts Learning and Achievement Center earlier this year. His favorite club program is the tech lab and he loves playing with Legos. Cason’s favorite music is rock and blues! Cason is very quick to help whenever anything needs to be done and he is an eager tour guide for new members to the club.
Jaxson Ferch is 8 years old and in the 3rd grade at Yulee Primary School. Jaxson’s favorites program at Miller Freedom Center are Sports Fitness & Recreation and he enjoys the basketball activities. His favorite color is purple and he enjoys bike riding and soccer as well as reading Dog man books. Jaxson’s favorite subject in school is math. Jaxson’s peers at the Miller Club love spending time with him. He is a leader of the future!
