Drop off old prescription drugs at the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office at 77151 Citizens Circle, Yulee Florida

The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office is planning in cooperation with DEA, a “Drug Take Back Day” on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This is an opportunity for our community to drop off old prescription drugs, old vitamins, etc. to keep these items out of their trash, our landfills and our waterways. It will also aid in the prevention of these drugs ending up in the wrong hands and any accidental ingestion. We do not accept liquids or syringes in this Take Back Program.

Editor’s Note:  If individuals are unable to make it Saturday, there is a drop box available in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office from 8 – 5 during weekdays.

And – the Fernandina Beach Police Department also has a drop-box in the lobby of the 1525 Lime Street building. (Normal business hours, all year.)
