The Nassau Education Foundation (NEF) announces its second annual membership drive. This is a new and important way for our local community to get involved andhelp bring grants to every classroom in Nassau district schools! Now through September 30 individuals can become a member-simply visit nassaueducationfoundation.org and click on the Membership tab at the top of the home page.

NEF is a non-profit 501c3 organization and membership is tax-deductible subject to IRS rules.

Foundation grants are awarded in the spring of each year and are awarded to teachers in every school in the Nassau District School System! These grants are funded through corporate sponsors, an annual gala, and a golf tournament. The newest program is the membership drive. In its first year, the new NEF membership drive raised over $8000 and funded 16 grants that may not have been funded were it not for these generous individuals in our community. NEF needs your help again this year. There has never been a time when innovation, creativity, and support were more needed in our district schools.

In addition to the membership drive you can also help by ordering one of three brand new out of state collegiate license plates! If you are a Georgia, Auburn or Alabama fan you can pre-order these tags. Get in the game now and a portion of the funds from each sale will go to the Nassau Education Foundation

There are many needs and now many ways to help bring resources and innovation to the classroom! Become a member today!
