John Crawford, Nassau County Clerk of Courts

Nassau County, Fla.— Each year, the Nassau County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller’s office works diligently to provide our citizens with comprehensive and transparent financial reporting. For the past 9 years, in addition to the comprehensive financial report, we have created and released a Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR). This report combines the most pertinent information from the annual county financials and presents it in a compact, easy-to-understand report.

Nassau County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, John A. Crawford, is pleased to present the Fiscal Year 2020 PAFR, By the Numbers: Your Roadmap to County Finances, to the citizens of Nassau County!

Our Finance team has won excellence awards for our PAFR for the past 9 consecutive years—including our very first year preparing one! The nation’s top association for government financial professionals, the GFOA, reviews PAFR’s from government offices, large and small, across the country to determine which reports uphold the highest standards of excellence. This award is a prestigious distinction in government finance, and we are very proud of our team for their continued commitment to excellence.

This report is full of useful and interesting information, graphs, tables, and photographs, to help you better understand Nassau County’s finances. Clerk Crawford strongly believes this is a must-read for every Nassau County citizen. It is just one of the ways our office strives to protect and preserve the public trust!

Please visit our website, www.nassauclerk.com, to view the electronic version of your PAFR. Printed copies will be available soon.

The in-depth 2020 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report is also available on our website.
