The Nassau Community Jazz Band returns to the Island Art Association (IAA) Courtyard 4-5 pm for this Saturday’s Artwalk. Come out and enjoy their smooth sounds in the open air courtyard.

IAA announces their April – May Nouveau Show and Sale themed “Down by the Docks.” Georganna Mullis chairs the show. Winners will be announced during Artwalk.

The featured Artist of the Month is Leslie Collins. Leslie and her husband retired to Amelia Island from being lifelong residents of Kansas City, Missouri. Her first exposure to watercolor was 2018 while taking classes through IAA. Recently selected as an IAA exhibiting artist, she finds watercolor allows her to experiment with endless combinations of color and movement. Leslie states “The Island Art Association has given me the opportunity to share my passion and to make friends with amazing artists.”

IAA’s Gallery, Education Building, and Courtyard are located at 18 N. 2nd St., downtown Fernandina Beach. For details and ways to support their charitable and educational mission, visit islandart.org
