New Software for Submitting Maintenance Requests

Nassau County, Florida, February 11, 2021 – As many of you may know, you can submit maintenance requests for county facilities and/or parks, as well as maintenance requests for road, drainage or bridge issues, through our official website, www.nassaucountyfl.com.

Currently, Maintenance Requests submitted through the website are emailed to the appropriate staff/departments, however there is no way for you to know for certain that your request has been received or to check the status of your request.

We are happy to report that beginning on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, Public Works will be implementing a new software called Asset Essentials to streamline maintenance requests and associated tasks. This new cloud-based computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) will prioritize, schedule and manage tasks and will allow technicians to monitor and track work orders on-to-go utilizing a mobile application. This will increase productivity and allow us to better serve our residents.

The most exciting feature of this new software is that Maintenance Requests are now submitted directly into the County’s work order system. The system will then generate automatic emails to you, notifying you of updates as the work progresses. Please note that this new system will require you to register with an email address in order to receive the updates.
