Among the challenges Wild Amelia faced during the current health crisis was continuing the tradition of sharing outstanding entries from our annual photography contests in the subsequent year’s calendar. Without the usual sales outlets for a printed calendar, the board authorized the production and free distribution of a digital calendar.
The 2021 calendar contains 13 entries from the 2020 contest including three submissions in the youth category. Each monthly page of the PDF file features photo representing native flora and fauna which Amelia Island a beautiful and unique location to enjoy and learn about nature.
The 2021 digital calendar is now available for free download from the Wild Amelia website at http://wildamelia.org/2021CalendarDownload.html.
Under the copyright agreement with the photographers whose work is highlighted in the calendar, you may print a copy of the calendar for your personal use only. The calendar may not be used for commercial purposes including, but not limited to, charging a fee for distribution. Individual photographs included in the calendar may not be copied, distributed or used for any purpose without the written permission of Wild Amelia and the respective photographer.
Wild Amelia’s mission is to educate residents and visitors about the local bioregion and encourage stewardship of the area’s natural resources through events and programs that educate and entertain while promoting a conservation ethic.
