David Sturges wins seat on City Commission.

With  29.41% of the city’s registered voters casting ballots, David Sturges has won a seat on the Fernandina Beach City Commission.  Sturges defeated Genece Minshew in the run-off election for City Commission Group 2.  Minshew lead the way in mail ballots but lost the lead when election day votes were counted.

Sturges will join newcomer Bradley Bean on the city commission.  Chip Ross won his bid for re-election in November.
