Editor’s Note: Patrick Golden and his wife moved to Amelia Island almost two years ago after a year in Mayport. Their former home was Williamsburg, Virginia. For 27 years, Ann was a Kindergarten teacher who is now focused on learning all about the different kinds of plants she can grow. Patrick served as a Naval Officer, museum director with NASA, and a library program director. He enjoys photography and painting and finds multiple opportunities in the area to indulge his interests.
