December 1, 2020

Rayonier awarded $105,000 to more than 38 local nonprofit organizations to help address key community needs across Nassau County. Recipients of the award were recognized individually this year. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the annual special awards breakfast was canceled.
The recipients will use the funds to help meet a range of needs in the Nassau County community, including civic and cultural, educational, environmental, natural resources and health and human services programs.

From promoting active involvement of fathers in the lives of their children, to establishing new apprenticeship programs or helping students develop the skills they will need to prosper, the Rayonier Community Fund grants help give families the opportunity to thrive.

“I’m extremely proud to support the tireless work of these organizations to help the most vulnerable people in the County,” said Mike Bell, Vice President, Public Affairs and Communications.
